2026 Berlin Study Camp
A three-week immersive study camp in Berlin — five master classes, European music history, concerts and intensive German, for students aiming at study abroad and international competitions.
Part of the 4th Berlin International Music Festival, the Study Camp is a three-week, fully immersive programme for music learners who want to raise their performance level and for students preparing for overseas study, professional exams and international competitions.
- Disciplines: piano, violin, cello.
- Dates: 22 July – 12 August 2026, Berlin.
Programme
- 5 one-to-one master classes over three weeks, with each student receiving individual guidance from at least two professors from different institutions. Repertoire: two works from different periods and styles.
- 2 European music history sessions — instrument history at the Berlin Musical Instrument Museum and music literature at the Berlin State Library, where students can study composers’ manuscripts, letters, diaries and full orchestral scores.
- 2 concerts — an opening concert and a closing concert.
- ~40 intensive German lessons over three weeks, focused on listening and speaking in a real German-language environment.
Living and learning in Berlin
Guided throughout by a dedicated companion, students immerse themselves in everyday life in Germany — getting to know the neighbourhood and supermarkets, mastering public transport, and experiencing authentic local culture.
