A summer music journey across Europe in three parts.
Berlin Master Classes (4 days)
Arrival and welcome dinner, followed by one-to-one master classes and a concert at Tertianum in Berlin — a dialogue between music and the soul. A session on figured bass and free practice time rounded out the days, before a closing student concert, a lecture on Mendelssohn, and the presentation of certificates. All master classes were accompanied by interpretation.
Tracing German–Austrian Music (3 days)
From Berlin to Bayreuth in Bavaria to feel the atmosphere of the Bayreuth Festival and visit the Margravial Opera House, then on to Nuremberg — following the roots of the German and Austrian musical tradition.
Italian Opera (4 days)
A tour through the home of opera, from grand historic theatres to the cities that shaped the art form.
